| #3 | it's weird because it really only happens when my cyst acts up (or is it the other way around?) when my cyst is fine my digestive skills are pretty good. the last time I had something like this was when the cyst grew enough where they could see it on a catscan. I really wonder about the connection |

| #4 | Well I have been diagnosed with IBS but I also have an AC. I had it since 2003 and now its getting worse. After i had a cyst removed on my ovary i thought it caused my IBS, ive had everything done for this upper and lower gi a colonoscopy and i am only 22 and had all this. So do you really think this is related to the AC. bc that would explain why the medicine they gave me only worked every once in a while...... I have heard but dont know where that pain can cause diarrehea and constipation, but then if your on pain pills it will also do this to you so are you takin pain pills for your AC then it causses this??? |

| #5 | If you are on pain killers, that can be the cause of your stomach discomfort. IBS causes both constipation and the runs, to put it bluntly . Many believe this is linked to neurological disorders because IBS is caused by multiple spasms in the bowel muscle. Mebeverine is a good medicine for this. It calms the bowel down and relieves a lot of the pain without you having to take pain killers as well. |

I have been keeping a journal of issues. One thing I have taken note of lately is that I have these intense migraine episodes where my brain feels like it's being steamed and such pain. The 1st day I just feel crappy the next two I'm using ice packs to lower the heat in my head and the 4th day I'm feeling crappy again. The 5th day is just wonderful, sarcastic, I spend hours, like on and off for 8, in the bathroom with it coming out both ends. Then, I spend the next 3+ days sleeping as these attacks just wipe me out physically, mentally, emotionally, and anyway you can imagine. Does a number on my daytime schedule... night becomes day and day is night. Mentioned this to my neuro yesterday too with little reaction or comment. |

| #7 | I find with different symptoms my GP is a lot more helpful than any neurologist I have ever met here in the UK. She accepts that while certain specialists cannot agree on the cause of certain symptoms, the symptoms are still occurring and need to be treated. She then works out a strategy on how to do that. |
