| #11 | hey we're spine twins lol i am not sure what angle mine is. I just know they said where its SUPPOSED to be curved - it's straight and vice versa. they thought of using a brace but then decided against it.
thanks for the suggestion

| #12 | Yeah, I was supposed to have this surgery to put a metal rod in back in 1998, but I decided I didn't want to have it done. I didn't think it would be worth the pain. | | |

| #14 | I wonder if scoliosis is related to arachnoid cysts. I don't know how many of us here have scoliosis, but if you do have it, please speak up. Maybe I should make a poll. | | |

| #15 | it might be related. the last neurosurgeon I saw thought he saw something on the thoracic part of my spine - possibly a herniated disc but he wasn't sure. anyway he said that a herniated disc on the thoracic area can cause the brain to actually sag and cause symptoms. so if a herniated disc could cause that - maybe scoliosis could effect the brain as well? | | |

| #16 | I was just talking about this with my friend and said if the curvature of the spine was bad enough, wouldn't it cause fluid to collect higher up the spine or in the brain? Ya never know. | | |
