My son was put on Tegretol last September for his seizures.  It has worked pretty well so far and he was seizure free until just a few weeks ago.  He started having a few seizures and they've now increased his dosage.  He had grown a lot, so hopefully the recent seizure are just from him "outgrowing" the dose he was on.
