Just curious if mostly everyone has this symptom and what you do to deal with the constant pounding in your head. |

| #2 | There are some polls on here that you can see how many of us are experiencing each symptom. I have had chronic headaches for 7 years now, it is something I've learned to live with. I think a lot of us here have headaches as are first warning that something isn't quite right with the brain. |

| #3 | I've had head pain (what i call brain vise cause it feels like my head is in a vise), and headaches and migraines. the brain vise 24/7 for the last 17 years this summer. for me, i just got used to the pain. i've developed a fairly high tolerance over the years. and i got put on topomax, 25mg 2x a day, 6 or 7 years ago and it dropped my headaches easily in half, and i haven't had a migraine in years (for whatever reason, doesn't touch the brain vise feeling). i know a lot of people don't like this med, but it's made a huge difference for me. i'm just fine with the ear ringing and white spots and other stuff you guys seem to have gotten too, if it takes some of my brain pain away. everyone is different tho and i know side effects can not to be lived with a lot of times either. been there, done that! ps. biofeedback (i learned it from a book) really helps too! oh, salt, pressure systems from storms, heat, cold, bananas, chocolate, caffiene, etc, etc gives me headaches too. but it's ok. cause my neuro docs say i shouldn't have them. |
